








PROJECT DESCRIPTION // Old Parliament House Billy Hughes at War
SCOPE // Exhibition design, graphic design, project
construction, multimedia and interactive development, installation management.
DETAILS // Opening at the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne for 3 months, followed by an installation at Old Parliament House, Canberra, Billy Hughes at War is an exhibition about Australia's seventh Prime Minister whose wartime decisions affected the lives of all Australians and he played a significant role internationally.
Commissioned in September 2007, Arketype's role was
to provide concept design, detail design, graphic development, multimedia and audio visual design and development, production
and project management services including installation.
Installed components included two flipbook touchscreen displays for the Billy Book and The Peace Treaty, audio and light interactive for the 'Conscription debate', audio soundscapes including music and oral excerpts. The debate interactive required significant audio recording and post production requirements.
