Haigh’s Chocolates CentenaryExhibition Design
Celebrating 100 Years of Fine Chocolate, Haigh’s Chocolates looked to Arketype to design a travelling exhibition that showcased the artisan history of Haigh’s chocolate making. Starting with the exhibition branding, we worked alongside the Haigh’s Brand & Marketing team to create a look and feel that was celebratory and joyful, utilising the Haighs Speckles as the hero image.
The custom made framework presented information via fabric prints, displaying beautifully at the State Library of South Australia, then The Queen Victoria Building, Sydney as well as the The Block Arcade, Melbourne. All custom pieces were designed and made to be easily transported and configured in numerous ways. The display cases featured objects such as chocolate moulds, historical packaging and of course, chocolate! Multimedia elements were also included, ranging from videos with audio and a lovely opportunity to smell a case of roasted nibs, the key ingredient to making chocolates!
Congratulations to the entire team at Haigh’s Chocolates for a centenary of business!
